International Men's Day - Charters

Why Ned Lowe, Senior Valuation Manager is our inspirational man this International Men's Day.

How do you try to be a role model for those in your team?
I make a point of leading by example. I would never ask someone to do something I would not be willing to do myself, and I aim to remain proactive and supportive in everything I do.

What inspired you to start a career in property?
I have always had a genuine interest in homes and how people live. Property allows me to combine that fascination with building strong relationships and helping people move into the next chapter of their lives.

How has your journey with your brand evolved so far?
Over time, I have taken on greater responsibility and have become more involved in driving activity, supporting colleagues, and contributing to the overall success of the office.

What do you love about your job?
I really enjoy the variety of people I meet and the relationships that are built throughout the moving process. No two days are ever the same.

What advice would you give to younger people entering the property industry?
Take the time to learn and absorb as much as you can from those around you.

How do you take care of your physical and mental well-being?
Maintaining a healthy work–life balance is very important to me. I ensure I make time for myself outside of work to recharge and stay focused.

Do you have a particular moment or accomplishment you are proud of?
I am proud to have contributed to the team being awarded Office of the Year in Southampton 2024.

What's a fun fact about you?
I am very passionate about cooking and love experimenting in the kitchen.
