Firstly, we wanted to extend our thoughts to you in these unprecedented times which are likely to remain uncertain for the foreseeable months ahead.

As part of our continuing community support in the wake of COVID-19 outbreak, Charters is conscious of the elderly and vulnerable during this period and would like to offer clients our support as best we can.

If you are self-isolating and all alone, please pick up the phone to us, our staff are here to talk to you. Call your nearest branch for support.

We would also like to take this opportunity to update you on a number of revised operational details, as we take sensible precautionary steps to help ensure the safety of our staff, customers and clients in light of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Some central head office departments within Charters are now working from home with our employees, clients and customers’ safety and wellbeing foremost in mind. Since this has been in place, there have been no issues with service levels or any adverse impact on the performance of the business. 

These departments, still contactable through the normal telephone numbers and email addresses, includes our Sales ProgressionLettings and Property Management, Marketing and Administration teams. This will better enable us to achieve the social distancing that health authorities believe is so critical to slowing COVID-19’s spread.

These are challenging times and no doubt you will have questions regarding current market conditions and we will be keeping you up to date with activity across our network of seven offices periodically.

Since the start of the year, Charters has achieved record sales and lettings activity, unprecedented since we opened in 2009. We hope that with the right approach, any disruption to the local property market is temporary and its impact is manageable at this time.

COVID-19 has presented extraordinary challenges that were hard to imagine a few months ago. Please be assured that we are doing everything possible to maintain a level of service you have come to expect from Charters. We will continue to update you as the situation evolves.
