news-article

As you will be aware, on Tuesday 2nd May 2018 the Government introduced the Tenant Fees Bill to Parliament and on 15th January 2019 that the Tenant Fees Ban will come into force on 1 June 2019.

Charters Lettings has made the decision to scrap Tenant Fees one month prior to this date as a further gesture of goodwill. So, from 1 May 2019 the Tenant Fees Ban comes into force at Charters.

If you are a Charters landlord, a landlord contracted with another lettings agent or a homeowner thinking about renting your property out, we invite you to attend one of our Landlord & Investor Evenings taking place at the end of May and beginning of June. Book your space, come along and meet independent legal and financial experts – the Tenant Fee Ban will be on the agenda for landlords too.
