Community champions, we live, work, play and breathe the ‘lifestyle’ that we choose to represent daily.

Involving our employees in the community and giving something back to our local communities is something we do with real passion. Our employees are kindhearted and generous and Charters is keen to be involved with as many community and charity projects as we can.

We engage heavily with the local communities at each of our branch locations, providing sponsorship to many local schools, events, functions and charities, investing considerable time and resource in addition to the financial support we offer.

Both management and staff are keen to be involved at all levels. Marathons and 10K’s have been run, Cathedrals’ abseiled and hospitality provided.

Charters provide real hands-on involvement and support in our communities and all events are actively promoted through our marketing initiatives, increasing foot-fall to the event whilst underpinning our identity as an important and integral part of the local community.

Recently we were named Community Champion of the Year at the Negotiator Awards. we have also been awarded GOLD for Corporate Social Responsibility 2016 at the Estate Agency of the Year Awards 2016, in association with The Times and The Sunday Times.

The judges felt that Charters has positioned itself as a responsible organisation and community champion, which gives back to the community that supports it. The amount of money raised over the past 12 months is impressive and comprises a good mix of sponsorship and straightforward donations.
